SEO and GEO
Get found on Google and in AI answers when customers search for what you sell.
Our SEO services fix the technical problems holding your website back, target the searches your buyers actually make, and build the content and authority that get you named in AI answers too. A monthly report shows the rankings, traffic and enquiries moving.
Available on its own, or as part of The Growth Programme.
In practice
What this actually is
SEO is the work of getting your business to come up when someone searches for what you sell, without paying for the click. GEO is the same job for AI assistants, which increasingly answer the question themselves instead of handing over a list of links.
Search visibility is earned and keeps working after you stop paying. If you need to be at the top of the page this week instead, that is Google Ads.
What we do
- SEO strategy
- We decide which searches are worth winning and in what order, based on what people actually type and what you actually sell.
- Technical SEO
- The unglamorous work that lets a search engine read the site at all - speed, structure, indexing, broken pages, redirects.
- Keyword research
- Real South African search volumes rather than what sounds impressive in a meeting.
- On-page optimisation
- Titles, headings and page copy rewritten so each page is clearly about one thing.
- Content for search
- Pages and articles built around the questions your customers are already asking.
- Local search
- Your Google Business Profile completed properly and kept current, which for a business with a counter is usually the higher-value half.
- GEO and AI visibility
- Structured data and plainly answered questions, so an AI assistant can quote you rather than guess.
- Reporting
- What you rank for, what it brought in, and what changes next month.

Built to be discovered
More than better rankings.
A stronger search foundation: a website the right people, the search engines and the emerging AI systems can all find and understand. Clearer priorities, stronger content, and a practical direction for improving visibility over time.
Talk to us about searchWhy search stopped being a traffic business
For twenty years the deal was simple. Rank well, get clicks, get customers. That promise is now half true. In the first four months of 2026, 68% of Google searches in the US ended without a single click to anybody, because Google answered the question itself.
Legibility is the whole game now. A site a machine can read without guessing, unambiguous about what it sells and who it serves, gets quoted inside the answer and takes the clicks still left on the page. One body of work, paid twice.
One half of the old deal survived intact. Somebody standing on a pavement typing "near me" is deciding where to go in the next hour, and they still click. Buying intent that close to a decision is the most valuable thing search still hands over for nothing.
The discipline
Four things have to be true before search sends you anything
They run in order and each rests on the one before it. Two are invisible, and they are where a stuck site is almost always stuck.
Readable
The machine can get in
- Indexing
- Site speed
- Structure and internal links
- Broken pages and redirects
This holds it up
Relevant
It is clearly about something
- What people actually type
- One page per intent
- Language that matches the search
- No two pages competing
This holds it up
Chosen
It earns the click
- Titles and descriptions
- Rich results
- Reviews and ratings
- The Google Business Profile
They see this
Cited
It is used as the source
- Structured data
- Being an obvious entity
- Questions answered directly
- Mentions elsewhere
They see this
Stage four did not exist five years ago and is where a growing share of the value now sits. It is not a separate discipline. A site that is readable, relevant and chosen is most of the way to being cited - it is the same work, finally being paid for twice.
Measurement
How you will know it is working
SEO services South Africa businesses buy are slow, compounding work. Measured over quarters, and on what search brought in rather than where it sat.
What we report on
- Search terms you appear for, and how that list grows
- Clicks and impressions from Search Console, reported against the same period last quarter
- Which pages earn the traffic, so the next round of work is aimed rather than guessed
- Enquiries and sales attributed back to search, where the tracking allows it
Before you ask
The questions that come up first
What is GEO, and is it a different thing from SEO?
GEO is generative engine optimisation - being the source an AI answer is built from, rather than a blue link underneath it. It became the settled name for this through 2026, absorbing the term AEO along the way. It is not a separate discipline and nobody should sell it to you as one: a site a machine can read cleanly, that is unambiguously about something, and that other sites treat as a source, is most of the way to being cited already. What changed is not the work, it is that a growing share of the payoff now arrives without a click - so the target moved from ranking to being quoted.
How long before I see anything?
The technical fixes show up in weeks. Ranking movement is month two or three, and content compounds, so month six looks materially different from month two. Anyone promising faster is either lucky or lying.
Do you guarantee a position on Google?
No, and neither can anyone else. What we can show you is impressions, the number of terms you rank for, and clicks, measured monthly against where you started.
What if my site is on Wix or Squarespace?
Most of this still applies. Some technical work is limited by the platform and we will tell you which, before you pay for it rather than after.
Is local SEO different?
Yes, and for a business with a shopfront it is usually the higher-value half. Your Google Business Profile, your categories, your reviews and your location pages do more for a business with a counter than a national keyword ever will.
