Buyer-Decision Teardown

Win clients on your value, not on being cheaper than everyone else.

We review one real buyer journey, from the first place someone meets you to the enquiry, sign-up or purchase, and show you where your value gets lost and what to fix first. Complimentary for selected established businesses.

Where it shows up

Good work, and a journey that hides it.

A teardown shows whether the journey is part of the problem when you notice any of these.

  • Enquiries, but not the right ones.

The page speaks to everyone, so the people you most want cannot tell it is for them.

  • They ask for a price, then disappear.

Buyers have not seen a reason to value the difference before they compare quotes.

  • The website undersells the work.

What you deliver and what your marketing says do not match yet.

Who decides on changes to this journey? optional

The journey to review

One offer, one buyer, one path. Short answers are fine.

If you sell several, pick the one that matters most right now.

Paste a link to an ad, a social post, a search result, a directory or marketplace listing, or a referral page. One is enough.

For example the booking tool or checkout you use.

Optional. Enquiries a month, sign-ups, conversion - whatever you have. "Not measured" is a useful answer too.

How you want it

How would you like to receive it?

The teardown is yours to keep either way. You do not need a call to receive it.

Never send passwords or account logins here. Links and short notes only.

What you receive

  • A walkthrough you can watch

A short private recording of one real journey, from the first place a buyer meets you to the step you want them to take.

  • Up to three friction points

Only the ones that matter, each labelled as observed, suspected or not assessable. A long checklist helps nobody decide anything.

  • One worked improvement

A rewritten headline and proof block, a clearer next step, or an annotated wireframe. Something you can use, not only a list of problems.

  • A straight recommendation

Fix it yourselves, look deeper, commission a small repair, or leave it alone. Sometimes the last one is right.

What it is not

An expert review of one journey, not customer research, a technical audit or a forecast of lost revenue. We never need a password, never place a fake order and never probe your systems. Screenshots can show where a buyer might stall. Only your customers can tell you why they buy, which is what the Commercial Foundation is for.

Yours to keep

You do not need to book a call to receive it. If the findings point to paid work, we will say so once, with the reasons, and the decision stays yours.

When a rewrite is not enough

Find out why people buy, from the people who buy.

A teardown shows what a buyer sees today. The Commercial Foundation goes further: we interview you and the people whose choices decide your business, test what they say against the alternatives they weigh, and settle the buyer insight, positioning, offer and story your marketing works from. It is planned over eight weeks, depending on how quickly we reach your customers, and scoped on its own. Take it to your own team, or bring us in for the work that follows.

Before you apply

Fair questions, straight answers.

Is the teardown really complimentary?

Yes, for the applications we accept. It is one journey reviewed properly, with no obligation to buy anything. Customer research, a full strategy and any build are separate, paid work.

Will you try to sell us something?

If the findings point to paid work, we will say so once and explain why. You receive the teardown without attending a sales call, and the decision stays yours.

We already have an agency. Can we still apply?

Yes. Share the findings with your current team. This is a review of one journey, not a reason to replace anyone.

When will we receive it?

We confirm the delivery date by email when we accept your application. Timing depends on how many teardowns are in progress, so there is no countdown and no automatic acceptance.

Can you tell us how much revenue we are losing?

Not from a review of screens. We show where a buyer is likely to stall and label what still needs checking with real customers. We do not turn assumptions into revenue figures or promise more sales.

What if we want help fixing what you find?

We recommend the smallest useful next step. That may be a repair your own team can make, a single service from us, or the Commercial Foundation if the real question is why customers buy. Each is scoped and quoted on its own.
